INTRO:
The best way to get started with anything is to start from the basics.
The purpose of this course is to first acquaint you with the different
Japanese arts and then focus on Ikebana. The first module of the
course will do just that. Through the different modules, you would
get a better understanding of the Japanese culture itself and thereby
give you a firm grounding in Ikebana. History And Forms Of Japanese
Art In Japan, art is not a field, it is not a subject, it is a way
of life. Appreciating beauty and art is a second nature to people.
So whether it is having dinner, or arranging flowers or even having
tea, there is always a refined and systematized way of doing it.
So much so, that life itself is an exploration of art and art an
exploration of life. This module will tell you all you need to know
about Japanese arts. First get an overview of the history of Japanese
art. Later get your hands on each of the arts.
