SIMPLE
STYLES OF HAVING YOUR OWN BONSAI
MULTIPLE
TRUNK STYLE
The
multiple trunk style in itself explains the meaning that the tree
here consists of more than one trunk than the other styles. The
two types are:
- TWIN
TRUNK STYLE: THE TR
EE
HAS TWO TRUNKS FROM THE BASE BUT THEY SHOULD NOT BE OF THE SAME
HEIGHT AND THEY SHOULD NOT ENTANGLE WITH EACH OTHER AND THE BASIC
SHAPE MUST BE MAINTAINED CONICAL.
- TRIPLE
AND MULTIPLE TRUNK STYLE: HERE THERE ARE MORE THAN TWO TRUNKS
BUT THE MAIN TRUNK MUST BE THE TALLEST AND THE OTHER TWO MUST
BE OF DIFFERENT HEIGHTS.
- OTHER
MODIFICATION POSSIBLE HERE IS TO HAVE MULTIPLE TREE STYLES THAT
IS THE GROUP STYLES.
Root
Over Rock Style...
In
this section, we will be examining the processes used to grow
a tree over a rock (in the root-over-rock style) and create quite
an effective bonsai. To explain this style we will use Ficus
Microcarpa over a Japanese Ibigawa Rock.
