Experience and creativity are the keys to success. So,
unleash your imagination and think wild and you will
end up doing wonders. Also remember that the more orders
you undertake, the more experienced you are and better
are the chances of you growing in this field.
To
start it all, first discuss your plans with people
in this field and get to know their opinion of what
this line is all about. To contact the known people
you could take the help of Yellow Pages, Ask me facilities
or even personal contacts. Talk to them and get a feel
of the whole thing. Be convinced of what the field is
like. When you embark on this you will know that wedding
coordinators have a huge network. To start your own,
go and meet people like caterers and talk out things
with them.
 Next,
make a list of the services you would like to
offer i.e., whether you would like to co-ordinate the
whole wedding or only a specific part of it. Here you
should know that there are two kinds of wedding co-ordinators:

One
where the person ties up with people like florists,
decorators during a wedding on a contract basis.

The
wedding coordinator who has people who work for
him exclusively.
