Future of Education Summit is Mount Litera Zee School’s endeavor to create a platform where global thought leaders could converge and discuss strategies to achieve the purpose of education. The coffee-table book on ‘Future of Education’ was recently unveiled by Mr. Vineet Joshi, Chairman, Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE). The book provides a glimpse into the 21st century education and captures the genuine voice of India in terms of student expectations from the education system and the initiatives to be undertaken to build India’s future.
“Thank you for wanting to step into the future of education taking our children along with you”, said Dr. Kapil Sibal on receiving the book by Mr. Sumeet Mehta, CEO, Zee Learn Ltd.
The book on ‘Future of Education’ also shares valuable thoughts from industry experts, dignitaries from different ministries in the Union Government along with international academicians and senior associates from the Zee Group.

Kidzee represented at “International Conference of Education”

Kidzee was represented at this international conference by Mrs Nitya Ramaswami, Ms Sweta Dholakia & Ms. Purvi Gogri. They presented a research paper on ‘Inclusion through Constructivism’ highlighting the process followed across all Kidzee centers.
The three of them showcased the path breaking pedagogy (iLLUME) developed by Kidzee after years of research which involved active participation from thousands of children and teachers. The research paper was really well received and the efforts of the research and development team behind iLLUME was applauded by the panel and everyone present.
NASA beckons 3 Mount Litera Zee school students

Three students of Jindal Mount Litera Zee School excelled and triumphed in the International Space Settlement Contest 2012, organized by NASA. 12-year-old Shreya Singh became the youngest wonder to bag the most coveted NASA award for her project on ‘Revelation 19—The Settlement of Mars’. Two other students, 14-year-old Ayush Garg and Prashant Singh from the Mount Litera Zee School bagged the winning trophies for their project, L’arche de Noé 07 in the NASA contest.
A resident of Nagothane in Panvel, Shreya won the most coveted NASA award and stood first among other students from different schools across the globe. Overjoyed with the announcement, Shreya a student of standard Seventh at MLZL School said “It was the teachers at the MLZS who had encouraged us to participate in the contest. Few of the teachers had provided a brief idea about the project and helped us with the basic concept required in successfully completing the project.”
“The biggest challenge was to represent our country amongst the students from different schools across the world. Students from the US, Pakistan, Australia, Austria, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Romania, and England had also showcased their talent at the contest” said the 14-year-old Ayush Garg
NASA International space settlement contest is a program organized by NASA Ames to spread the awareness of the need of space settlement in our future generation and to encourage the current generation to know more about the facts and happenings in the space to keep them updated and are in search of sharp brains and creative minds that they can absorb for their organization from across the globe.
Mount Litera Zee school celebrates World Environment Day
MLZS students from Grade I to Grade VI visited local societies / flats / apartments and presented seeds / small plants to the families and spoke to them about 4 small steps in saving the environment.
Students made the members of the family take an oath to protect the environment by signing a declaration form along with their contact number and name.The idea was for students to teach and/or request the adults to understand how essential it is for us all to preserve our environment.

Mount Litera Zee School student Jayesh Bugad attempts to enter Limca Book of Records
Jayesh Bugad from Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS), Ichalkaranji now is all set to enter the Limca Book of Records by participating in a 50 hrs non-stop roller skating marathon.
The class VII student of MLZS was part of a 40 member roller skater group consisting of kids from across the country to participate in the 50 hrs non-stop roller skating marathon. The marathon which was held at Belgaum, Karnataka began on Monday morning and ended on Wednesday evening of May 30, around 4 pm. Earlier Jayesh Bugad had secured the top position in the roller skating competition held at the district level.Elated over his attempt to enter the Limca Book of Records, Jayesh Bugad said, “It was my parents’ support and the training imparted by Mount Litera Zee School that has helped to complete the roller skating marathon. The school has gone an extra mile in providing training to the students in sports and other extracurricular activities.”
Mount Litera Zee School students set record by cracking International English Olympiad
Two students from Mount Litera Zee School at Salem became the youngest achievers for cracking the International English Olympiad (IEO) held in January 2012. The two students namely N.S Shobaavarsinin and Suyash Mishra of grade 2 have shined in the IEO by bagging the state-level ranks.
The International English Olympiad is a one-of-its kind examination and the first in the history of English language testing in India.
